All I saw of him was on TV during the FA Cup match, but he didn't look to me to have much about him. A bit of speed and enthusiasm, but no brains. What is worrying is Warnock's column in the Independent, wherein he reveals that he has spent all week changing our system to make Townsbellend the pivotal player. So where does that leave us? A week's preparation wasted? Draft in the forgotten man (Lloyd Sam)? Give Roy Rogers a couple of aspirins and bung him in there? On another note...............loads of people have been purring with delight at Warnock's assertion that Snoddy needs to play "in the hole." They seem to forget that everyone knew that that was Howson's best position, but it defied the combined intelligence of SG, all his coaching staff, and indeed the 000s of armchair pundits to come up with a way to play anyone "in the hole" and still play the man who it is commonly agreed has been our one shining light in recent weeks, ie Ross McC. Which is why I said yesterday that I will be interested to see the lineup this afternoon. _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate
