We were pretty poor, but then so were pompey, they had some nice passing but
absolutely zero going forward.  We were no better, I think we had 1 shot on
target in first half.  2nd half we were improved  and they looked shaky and
we could have had a couple of goals.  they had 1 disallowed cos it went
straight in from the throw in and had a good shot for a penalty for hand
ball.

 

Bruce started but got injured when he fell into the crowd.

 

Warnock was bouncing around like a cat on a hot tin roof and acknowledged
the good humoured ribbing from the crowd.

 

Snoddy was capn and seemed to be playing a free role, but Mccormick was
pretty invisible.  

 

Much too early to see if he can make any difference, but playing 4-3-3 might
be interesting.  Apart from the forced subbing of Bruce didn't try and
change things around.

 

Leeds fans in good voice, Pompey fans were too, but only cos of the drummer
boy,
