Hi gang

bit quiet today. seems the appointment has knocked the stuffing out of us,
hard to imagine the list near speechless ...usually happens when we're
doing well, nowt to have a yorkshire moan about. Guess that suggests a
muted optimism abounds?

intriguing that with 18 dissatisfied professionals on our books, we're
apparently about to create another 2 or few, if our new manager is going to
bring in a CB, FB, MF and CF! If its another Sodje, then can't really
argue, but not sure it will help to make the squad yet bigger.

Interesting AOB not on the bench. Interesting BP was (could he find his
touch - he used to be mentioned in the same breath as rickie lambert - and
oust our beloved becchio?). Seems Brown has found a new lease of life
under his old boss. Could that success make up for losing JH?

Anyway, having gone through a number of typical summer topics, our
playground favourite players, LU inspired kids' names, less inspired
kids'supporting habits (i was lucky, my boy (Reuben after Sosa who along
with Thomas Gravy we almost bought) got into footy on that Wise Beckford
run when we were (according to his dad) the best team in europe 15/15
points and J was more prolific than any ronaldo lampard), anyway, today i
pulled on an old shirt and remembered how proud I was to wear the number 4
for my team (the Dukhan Oilmen), that was the happiest number I ever wore.
Midfield general. Batty, Bremner. At the age of 39 I had finally arrived.

Have a nice week all.
