why? One of Bates' stated reasons for sacking SG was that we have 18 games left to turn our bid for promotion around...now we have 11 and our position is worse...I'm not judging Colin (or Neal Redfearn) just Bates.
Of course, we could go on a mad winning streak and end up in the play-offs because everyone in this league is trying hard to cede their place in the play-offs to someone else...
