I think that you may be confusing things a little.
A Football Banning Order is an ancillary order put in place by the Courts when 
an offender has been convicted of other offences (ie, assault, public order 
offences, etc) that have taken place either before, during or after a football 
match, this includes travel and generally runs for a period of between 3 and 5 
years. This is the one that results in visits to police station on match day, 
surrender of passport, etc, it is nothing to do with the club.
