To those who don't give a damn about football unless Leeds United is
part of the story, just ignore and go back to sleep.
I've heard today that Scottish club Hearts may not be paying their
players Friday. This whole problem may engulf the whole of the Scottish
League, The Premier League and the Football Leagues. Port Vale is in
the dumpster.....a team that has been running since 1877. For Pete's
sake, can't someone from the League brass call a crisis meeting and get
something done about all these terrible events.
The trouble is, if things get any worse elsewhere, the virus will
eventually hit home with LU AGAIN. Surely someone has the balls to call
an end to all the high-end salaries that are killing clubs.....the
high-end prices for tickets....and all that go with the above.
I am one who believes football is the greatest game there is in this
world of ours. Yes, this week, I watched Chelsea pull that amazing
comeback to move on.....yes I watched Seattle get stuffed by Santos in
the CONCACAF champions league.....yes I watched Toronto pull a huge
upset over Beckham, Keene and their L.A. Galaxy in thei same contest.
Yes, I'll probably watch some Premier League games early Saturday morning.
And, if I can find the LU-West Ham game somewhere, I'll watch that too.
Anyone who is so wrapped up in himself and not embrace the game of
football, is a dumb crock of you know what.
Let's get the hotshots who run football in Britain to get the game
sorted out....from club to players to supporters. I can't believe LU
won't sell a ticket to a member of the LUST, of which I am a member,
sadly not in good standing due to lack of money. That, to me is a blot
on KB's flipping white beard.
And, no, after all that, I don't feel any better. Except to say, I hope
LU stuffs WHU on Saturday!
