Damian, he wasn't chucked off the list, he unsubscribed himself. I was just forwarding the evidence before anyone jumped in and blamed me for chucking him off the list. (Now why would I think anyone would do that?)
I had an in box full of complaints about Mark but did nothing as I actually agree with you. The crunch for me came when I started seeing long standing listers unsubscribing becuase they had had enough of seeing the list desecend into, as one person described to me: "playground squabbles". I put a shot across Mark's bows and he ran away rather than apologise.
Everytime someone subscribes to the list I get an email and feel good about it.
Everytime someone unsubscribes I get pissed off, especially when I know that it's because of someone else's thoughtlessness.
I (probably like the blessed St Gav) always remember the wise words of Tingha and Tucker: "Bear in Mind To Be Good and Kind". Perhaps it's time for Aunty Jean to take over from Aunty Betty.
The list has lost some of its great contributors in recent times and the protaganists are always wearing the same number shirt. You know who you are. Be it on your own conscience if you end up in a broom cupboard arguing with yourself as the list finally lays its head in the graveyard of cyberspace oblivion.
Well mannered, well thought out, witty contributions are always welcome, even contributions now and then about that Leeds United. The other sort of stuff, the nasty stuff, is about as much use as a man's tits.
