I think that's a common problem with American TV series throughout. There
is an old thatrical adage "Always leave them wanting more" and never has
a phrase rung more true than the fantastically innovative series like Lost
and Heroes been cheapened and turned into garbage by stretching a 13 part
series into seasons 2,3,4 etc. etc.
I do like a bit of depth however, and Homeland is getting it just right at
the moment, disappointed there are plans for series 2 for the above
reasons!
BTW, as we are finally over another crap season! We can talk bollox again
... Heard last night on Mark Radcliffe's show the new Richard Hawley
single "Standing at the Sky's edge" - It's absolutely epic. To check it
out go to iPlayer and 41 minutes into last night show you'll hear it.
Superb IMHO.
