OK my turn, first 7" was an EP, is that allowed? Twist and Shout, by a band
my Dad said would never take on, The Beatles, First gig Blackpool pier (North
or Central, cant remember, around 63/64) Manfred Man, The Animals and I think
The Tremelos. First album can't remember but I think it was a Golden Guinea .
Best Gig, hard so many specially early 70's at Leeds Uni, The Who, Ten Years
After, Leon Russell, Stones at roundhay park, The Who at Blackbush. Seasick
Steve in Fremantle, Dylan at Earls Court, so many. Actually Eric Burton, the
last gig at the Raffles c2006 will live with me forever cos it was the first
time I saw a live band with my son. The worst I can remember was Sparks at
Leeds Uni. Looking forward to Rich and Famous tomorrow at Fremantle Workers
Club, also, for the sake of any Aussie listers. Looking forward to Perth Glory
(Jacob Burns et al) thrashing the Roar on Sunday.
Cheers Nigel MOT
