yea a brilliant idea by the people at Perfect Curve, the BBCs marketing 
company, produce a report saying they are going to get rid of it to save money 
and suddenly everyone is up in arms (well white middle class people anyway) and 
it's listenership doubles overnight.  They did same thing with the BBC Asian 
Network, cept the arms up were a bit browner. Exactly home much can it cost to 
run a radio station? They doing even need records and a record player anymore.

As a VERY latecomer to R6, how did it ever reach the point that it was almost 
getting cancelled 18months ago or so?
