Without wanting to wish good fortune on Chelsea the longer their game went on against Bayern there was an unmistakable growing feeling of payback for 1975 (and to a far lesser extent for 1976 -St. Etienne at Hampden). It wasn't there at kick off but the way the game panned out it just grew and grew. By the end it was very real.
