Woke up with a the feeling I had as a kid. That what I wished for and wanted if not needed will yet again not happen. We, especially me have been gripped by a wave of 'takeover hysteria'. But what are the facts? That we are negotiating. We have done so in the past and met up with every kind of pond life, degenerate, daft, delusional and psychopath known to mankind. That Bates is hard up & will do no more for us. That Leeds financial records are at best not understandable and at worst understandable and terrifying. That other teams are up for grabs. My fear is that either MS's arrogance & greed will destroy any deal or we are taken over by a bigger MS than the one we have. It's supposed to be clearer [ according to one rumour ] by Thursday.... It wont be. I have a fear that this will drag on & on & we start the season debilitated serious relegation candidates. Sorry to be pessimistic... but that's part of the emotional roller coaster of Leeds United as we forever hurtle from specters of glory to specters of doom whilst living in the unceasing reality of failure and dis appointment.
