You may have a point but is it insulting or descriptive? Is it ageist to call me an old cnut, or sizeist to call me a skinny one or you a fat one or is it just descriptive? It's not so long since I was called a hippy lesbian on here but I don't recall many leaping to defend the questioning of my sexuality. Would the reaction been different if I'd been black? If so isn't that an equally racist attitude?
