As someone who lives in London, who works somewhere that is impacted
heavily by the Olympics for a variety of reasons, I've been heartily sick
of hearing about the Olympics for months. However, the last few days has
seen the atmosphere of London change positively, and I thought the ceremony
was great. (although I had to explain some of it my Aussie wife).

Totally agree with you Dave - it's nice to see GB do something startling
different and well.

Cynicism lifted. At least for today!
