I don't pay any attention to any of these ridiculous slogball competitions which masquerade as cricket, but I did just prick up my ears when I heard on the news that White Feather CC (aka Hampshire) are playing in some stupid one day final at the moment. I wonder if their keenness to get proceedings concluded at Southampton yesterday had anything to do with their need to be at lords today?
