I thought it was one of his best displays - he was one of the only players who got stuck in in the first half (admittedly some of his challenges were a bit rash!) Second half I thought he played really well, tackling confidently and his passing was accurate. Other than that I agree fully with your views. The crowd seemed very flat, hope it improves when (if!!!) Bates finally fcks off.
If I'd been a Barnsley fan I'd have been pi33ed off that they got nothing from the game, and having seen the "penalty" decision on The Football League Show I'd be even more pi33ed off as it was definitely outside the box!! Two pens in two games - and both "cheekily" scored. When was the last time we got consecutive pens!! In summary, a poor display, 3 points, day rounded off with a few pints of Leeds Pale and Yorkshire Blonde, topped of with a few Vodkas. A good day.
