The answer is of course Gordon Strachan, making Seaman look like a homonym in 1991. The footage shows the psychological cleverness of it, because in the next match we got another penno, and the Man City keeper didn't know whether to dive or not and ended up doing nothing while Strachan smacked it into the corner. Which leads me obliquely to an interesting question which Walker alluded to the other day.............when McCormack is back in the side again, who will be our penalty taker? My bet is that Becchio will keep the job until he misses. I just hope we don't have any more of those extremely unedifying arguments on the pitch. (It probably won't be an issue, because on our average rate, having been given 3 pens in what 4 or 5 games, we won't get another one until about 2016.)
