Apart from Byram (mainly for the first half), Norris and Diouf (again, mainly for the first half), none of them should have the brass balls to pick up their wage after that shoddy, third-rate, dissinterested showing...and as for the crowd...all 17, 454 of 'em...another notch in Bates belt of death as he pulls it ever tighter round our throats.
What a miserable night. Charlton were rubbish as well. I think that there were 4 shots on goal in total. Capped only by possibly the single most ridiculous thing Becchio has ever done on a pitch - around the half way line, to the left of the pitch, he jumps to control a lofted ball on his chest, innevitably it bounces a few feet away, he chases and gets his foot to it, this prods it even further away from himself and into touch where having sped up to catch up with the thing, but frustrated by his failure to get to the ball in time, he lashes it high into the East Stand...and earns the innevitable booking. (BTW, doesn't anybody think that the boat race chappee was simply trying to get all "suffragette on the King's horse"...only in water, and without dying?) _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email leedslist-unsubscr...@gn.apc.org PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate
