Fair point. But not 100% accurate. For me the real villain in this is an individual. Marc Bosman. Without that decision, which gave the game to greed, allowed the players control and not the clubs then we were destined to be here from that moment on. Throw in sky's billions, weak and improper governance (sepp blatter is second on my 'what went wrong with football' list) and Then this situation is pretty much inevitable.
