penalties? Yeah, I can see how you'd hate that.

I think my point is, I'm not sure many people ever said he was good enough to 
play in the premier league. Maybe you can look in your big folder of "things 
people have said about Becchio that weren't calling for his immediate 
execution" and correct me. But he scored 11 last season, 19 the season before, 
and 15 in each of the two before that. So to OBSESSIVELY criticise him just, to 
me, seems bloody rude.

It reminds me of when the Sun went all-out attack on Gordon Brown. It actually 
made people like him, because it was so over the top. 

(Personally, I think Rich has "confusing" feelings for Luca, hence the vitriol. 
Let's hope it doesn't end like American Beauty.)
