So why on earth agree - only 24 hours before - to extend the loans of Poleon (and Zac Thompson) and even worse agree that they can play for Bury in the Cup ! As for sending off of Varney I think it was just about justified and that we would not win an appeal - given that we had a totally frivolous appeal turned down last week (Pearce v Watford) then there would be a good chance that the FA would use their powers to extend the ban.
