I disagree. Teams that go up are youngish certainly not t their peak. The vast majority of ours have seen better days and are way past it. Look at the age of our bunch and that of teams that are in the CL who have been recently promoted. We have a bunch of ageing journeymen. It is not a matter of keeping a nucleus. Even worse if we do not go up this bunch will be less equipped to do it the year after. Why look at the team in any other light than what it is. A hastily thrown together, incomplete team with very few assets. Lets face there are only two tangible ones. Byram & Lees. The rest are past it or and loanees. Anyway this is a sterile academic argument. We are not going up. FFS look at the Batesesque handling of Diouff. The MS seemingly merely cloned himself :(
