Bates is a creature of crooked habit. He ran us like he ran Chelsea, and many other businesses before them: running up losses from a string of bent investments and then scarpering. As much as I despise him, part of me cannot help but admire his ruthless exploitation of insolvency law loopholes.
I can only hope our ultimate destiny is similar to his previous club. I'm sick of potless chancers. Nigel.
