Hi guys Bought my daughter a Windows 7 laptop for xmas....my IT dept installed a "free" version of M/Soft Office 2007 as she need Word and Powerpoint.......this then messed it up and we took it back.
Swapped it for a Windows 8 one......she logs in using her M/Soft hotmail......so far so good. My nephew installed a "free" version of M/Soft Office 2010......she created a document. PC then wouldn't create a new folder (basic).........her emails froze....was running slow. She uninstalled the Office and it all works fine again. There is a built in version with 60 day free trial........what happens after it expires ? Do you still get a basic version ? Bloke in Tesco seems to think so although comments on Google differ.
