Hmmm, interesting thought/mis-conception about the truth in court, the prosecution and defence will tell you on trial day that in the case of a criminal trial the standard of proof is "beyond reasonable doubt" or on a "balance of probabilities" for a civil matter. The truth doesn't always come into it.
