I suspect they'll be afraid of being sued if it did happen. That's what we get for allowing all this "where there's blame, there's a claim" bullshyt to flourish in our society. We used to laugh at the Americans for their litigious culture, but we're just as bad nowadays... My favourite of all these is still Cessna - stopped making light aircraft for a number of years, almost going out of business altogether, because they got fed up of being sued by the relatives of people who'd crashed their planes. And when they started again, they had to put a big sign in them to the effect that "flying this aircraft may result in death"!
