Swap deals, I get. Makes sense if you've got, say, a surplus of defenders and need a striker, and the other club has the opposite. But a striker for a striker? Somebody is surely losing out here. What's really weird is that, unless Morison turns out to have deteriorating eyesight or a wasting disease, it's really difficult to imagine him being a worse choice than Becchio. We haven't really managed to do something on transfer deadline day that will benefit the squad overall, have we? Surely not?
