----- Original Message ----- There was an accusation that GFH would flip the club sometime ago but they refuted that. would they really be prepared to sell so soon??
The question is not about whether they will sell or not, of course they will, because that is their business model. It is all down to the profit margin on offer to the "Investment House/Chancers/gallant St Georges" on the flip. Various sums have been mentioned and it is all about bridging the gap between the two figures. Of course building such bridges can be interesting if one side is under impending incoming fire and therefore faces other pressures. In many ways this is a similar situation to that faced when the Plc had the bondholder debt problem. FIRST -you have to slay the dragon. Once the dragon is dead and gone, then everything opens up and it is a different world. I'm very surprised that Pearson has gone public at this time. It must be tactical. _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate
