and lets get a reality check here. We're talking about Adkins as if he's managed this 'tin pot' club to successive promotions and 5 wins out of 24 in the premier legue on a shoestring. He's spent a fooking fortune - fat boy Billy Sharper cost nearly 2 million and he was one of their cheaper signings. I was amazed to see they had spent nearly 40 million including 13 million on 1 player (Ramirez) and even when Adkins was in the lower leagues he was shelling out millions for players (Ricky Lambert, Jose Fonte). Incredible. He is a spectacular failure. Do you think if Warnock had a few million we wouldn't be in the playoffs or auto promotion this year ? If he could buy a Ricky Lambert or a Gary Hooper - of course we would.
