Erm .... No idea mate. It's difficult to judge managers - you can't see them kick a ball, score a goal etc so you can only go by the success of their teams on the pitch, but even that's no real indication - sometimes they are lucky to inherit a good team e.g DOL.
Look at El Tel, everyone says he is the best coach they have played for. For me he was the worse manager in our history and that includes Allan Clarke. Neil Warnock is the most proven championship manager but yet we still see him making elementary selection mistakes and he's really struggling. If I was pushed I'd like to see Dougie Freedman given a go. I like the way he played the game and it seems to be rubbing off on his teams. Best manager in my lifetime - Wilko.
