I remember my nana spitting feathers when Skipton was moved from West Yorkshire to North Yorkshire. In fact she always put her address as West Yorkshire after the change. Mind you, folks used to do a lot of spitting in those days - my granddad (ex-miner) would regularly spit at the telly when Thatcher was on. Mind you, he used to dribble on the telly too, when Pan's People did their routines mostly. Btw, I think the new kit looks like it's got a strip of Hot Wheels track stuck on the front of it - can't decide if that's good or bad, cause Hot Wheels were ace.
