Apparently Parkin's original bid was backed by a Saudi individual who is no longer interested. Parkin is trying to secure more backing but as it stands he could buy the club but not afford to run it. As a Leeds fan himself he knows that's not good enough and so is trying desperately to secure financial guarantees in the Middle East.
