McDermott has impressed once again in respect of the 2 sendings off yesterday With regards Rudy he has studied the videos and has decided to appeal - quite rightly in my opinion - but he has not criticised the ref for the decision , none if this 'the ref cost us the match' rubbish you get from a lot of managers. With regards Diouf he has come right out and condemned him for it - none of the ridiculous defending of the indefensible that the likes of Liverpool have been guilty of recently. He came straight out and said that the provocation was no excuse and did not even to try and mitigate the offence by claiming it was heat of the moment - quite the reverse saying that if you run 50yds to do it, it is not heat of the moment So well done Brian, you really are saying all the right things, lets hope you are able to back them up with deeds.
(Having said all that I still cannot think what Diouf did really deserved a red card but I suppose it being Brighton and him grabbing his crotch - according to reports - it would be seen as homophobic. With his reputation and the homophobic connotations any appeal would be bound to fail) I caught Colin on BBC last night talking after our game and he did , among bigging himself up, say that he believed that GFH (another f*ing 3 initial name!) would invest in the team and help McDermott get the 3 class players we need Dave _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] MARCHING ON TOGETHER
