Having lurked for years, I am, at last, enthused enough to share my thoughts on today's match.
I have only seen one live match this season but several on the box and (with hand on heart) I opine that LU, today, were outstanding. I also thought Brown had a good game 'til his subbing. I have just finished watching a recording of Hull / Cardiff. LU performed better than both. Yet both have been promoted and Watford might have been. The play-offs are amongst teams that, with the exception of Brighton, are no better than LU, if as good !!! So, what am I saying ? To get in the top six is a lottery. Cardiff and Brighton excepted, any team in the top 14 could have made it. The two aforementioned teams were the only 2 teams to show good football consistently. I feel that, with McDermot's man-management skills and not too many additions to the squad, LU will be up there next season. This is the first time I have been optimistic for LU since the Woodgate / Bowyer fiasco. To end, I must comment on the Rooneyesque lob that McCormack scored the winner. His lack of speed throughout is countered with his nous and experience. Find a young, strong and speedy partner for him up front and......who knows ??? !!! regards, Michael (D'sD) _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] MARCHING ON TOGETHER
