I've been saying it would be Moyes for years, I think since he previously
threatened to retire! It was an obvious choice and the sensible one, sadly
it may mean they continue to be strong. Bringing in 'A name' would have
meant them stamping their ego on the club and could have been hilarious in
the Liverpool mold - Change Manager (Usually for a foreign manager who
doesn't know the English game enough), spend millions (On players who are,
at best, average), promise the earth, struggle, get sacked. Repeat ad
infinitum. The Champions League win used up at least 10 years good luck in
one season for them! Other than that it's been distinctly barren and I
think Man U would potentially have gone the same way. Unfortunately I
don't think they will with Moyes.
I still have an inkling Mourinho is going to Man City, despite all the
press shoeing him into Chelsea again.
