That's not always true - at Director level, very much the same thing can happen as in Football. I once worked for a Leeds-based company who's MD had previously been at the helm of two other companies that had gone under. Sure enough, the Leeds company folded soon enough. When last heard though, this useless git had just been set on as MD of another poor unfortunate bunch...
