OK, so we were in North Wales all last week - highlights for you DRB

-South Stack lighthouse on Anglesey - 400 steps down and up, but stunning
coastal scenery and a fine RSPB viewing point nearby
-boat trip from Beaumaris round Puffin Island - saw puffins (natch), seals,
thousands of birds that look like puffins but arn't
-castles - the majestic Conwy, Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Rhuddlan - all via a CADW
pass (well worth having)
-bakeries - my God, Wales caters for the pie and cake lover like nowhere else
on earth
-Porth Dinllaen - on Lleyn peninsula - Ty Coch Inn pub right on the beach
-Criccieth - always loved it since going camping there as an 11 yr old
-Llandudno - get the kids on the toboggan run near the dry ski slope - £5 for 2
goes round. Pier and Barnacles cafe (gluten free) are good!
-Snowdonia - stunning

When it doesn't rain, Wales is fabulous!

Subject: [LU] Great list

I know there are several football purists out there, who don't always like the
non-Leeds stuff on this list, and of course you're entitled to your opinion,
but for me, it's posts like Steve's holiday blog, and Guy's local knowledge
response, that makes this such an interesting group to be part of.  Cheers
fellas.

And even the purists out there would have to say Steve's 'postcard' is more
interesting than anything on Jose chuffing Merino (bahhh) which is wall to wall
just now.
