I have been trying to work out what our first team is going to look like Normally when a manager changes the team after an hour, those who start are likely to be the real starting eleven. Last night we had Pugh (at centre half), Norris, Brown in midfield none of whom are likely starters
Perhaps his idea is to bring in a new centre half alongisde Lees and bring in Murphy and Austin for Norris and Brown(the former 2 players are a 'week behind' the others in terms of training. If this is the case then it looks as if both Poleon and White are in his first team plans and Ross is not ? Of course that also leaves the injured Diouf as surplus to requirements I expect Byram will be brought back and Peltier could be moved to centre half again, It also means, Varney and Tonge would be fringe players ? This would mean the first team would be Kenny, Byram , Lees, Newbie, Warnock, Murphy, Austin, Green, White, Hunt , Poleon There are highlights on LUTV that are very short but Poleon nips between defender and keeper and chips the headed back pass onto the post, misses a sitter with his head, and scores when he gets onto a shot from Green that the keeper spills - he really is looking lively Best of the highlights is the clown umpa music played when they scored - all Leeds fans were dancing to it and enjoyed it that much they kept shouting 'shoooooot' at their players in the hope that they would score again and hear the music !!
