Hola,
from this sunny armchair, I would make the following comments: 1) Pre Season form means NOTHING. In fact, for years LUFC have won the most if not all the 6(?) pre season games only to then sh1t it the moment the league starts in earnest. The fact they have lost a few really means nothing at all, and they should only be used for fitness and formations. Now, lose the first three league games that would be an issue... 2) the new gold strip is a bit shocking, one that you'll look back upon as soon as next year and say to yourself "oh ffs...)... but then again if it was up to me they'd play in a white polo with the club badge only, so anything else is just gaudy. 3) if McD says some have to go out before some can be transferred in, well, if i check the squad list from the paragon of truth and reliability that is Wikipedia, there are 28 players in the 1st team squad - and the limit is 25? Of course Lenighan and Killock may be loaned out but it does seem to be the case that quite a number have to go before others can come in. Obviously those most likely - for me at least - would be: Pugh, Brown, Hall, Norris, Varney and maybe even Aidy White? In saying that i don't know how much this 25 man squad rule is enforced or if it applies to players over 21 only. Perhaps GFH are skint and haven't got any cash to throw around but without question the LUFC squad at present needs to get rid of 4 to 6 players and some out before some come in doesn't surprise.
