Just home from game. Better second half and McCormack, Pearce and Austin all did well, but we were set up not to score, especially as long as Hunt remained on. Whereas every time they attacked the ball went wide and you feared for our defence. We had no width, no wingers and no pace (till Poleon replaced Hunt). Completely inevitable that Le Fondre would score. Depressingly predictable. This was my first game this season, but on this evidence it is hard to see how we will get the goals you need to win games. They had the better chances first half but we had the better ones second half, with ten minutes to go commentators were saying there was only one team going to nick a goal and that was Leeds, that was when I knew we'd lose!What's going to be the test for McD for me after that is whether he can rally the team for Burnley, a loss like that can really dent morale.Positives - Lees seemed to grow in stature second half. McCormack got into the game more second half too. McD bought on Poleon and Smith to try and win the game.
