Hi Lee - we're off for the 3rd (and hopefully last time) next year. We're
staying at Disneyland again (Santa Fe  - booked near the river - a couple of
quid more but means you're at the closest point to Disneyland - about 10 minute
walk through landscaped gardens etc!) Worth staying on-site as you get all
passes included - really you get the accomodation free when you think it
through, which is around £800 (I think) for a family of 4. Tips - get up early,
stay up late and watch the light show at least once, ditto the parade. All
restaurants in Disney Village are the same and for us cost around £80 a meal.
The food outlets in Disneyland weren't as pricey as I'd feared, but you get
sick of fries! Master the Fast Pass system early, it can save you loads of time
queueing. Wear comfy shoes! Queueing - these can be deceptively long - beware.
Longest for us was the tram ride in the Studios bit - definitely do this ride -
child friendly and the end is great.

First time we stayed in Paris for a week in St Germain - train takes a bit less
than an hour - costs start to add up. Better to stay on site if you're just
doing Disney. Hopefully I've 'negotiated' a day in Paris proper when we're
there though - you can just have too much fun!!

Any specific questions mail me directly - cheers

Lee, went last December:
If you are not going anywhere off the resort you're a lot better off staying on
site as the package deals are a lot better value. Eurostar is the best way to
travel assuming you can get to London easily.
Try and get a deal that includes at least some food, other than the McDs the
restaurants range from pricey to really pricey however there's a good choice on
the Main Street.
The "character" breakfast is only worth doing if you've got small children and
you pre-book the "princess" meal is about £60 a pop so avoid.
Be aware not all the rides work even at peak times - Space Mountain and one of
the roller coasters were out last year.
If you are in any way politically sensitive avoid the Its a small world ride
which contains every national and ethnic stereotype you can think of, apart
from the French naturally :-)
It's one of those places you have to get on board with or else it's sheer hell.
