Well the outcome of the Brum game is that me, my lad Danny and DRB, will be making our way to Elland Rd for the Yeovil game. Are any pubs de rigeur pre-match, or am I talking old money?? Don't think I've been since a freezing midweek cup game versus Shrewsbury when I went with Ed Watkinson (are you still lurking Ed?). Certainly didn't give Bates any of my money! Anyway, looking forward to it.

I don't know what any of us expected this season, but I think the word Transitional may have been invented JUST for us right now. I think everything is looking OK actually, not mindlessly optimistic but not down in the dumps either. We're starting to build a younger squad, not choc full of Journeymen, with a good manager who knows this League and has launched a promotion push mid season (Succesfully) before. The key is, will there be any money by January? If not, get used to it, it's a slow work in progress. If there is, we could have an entertaining second half of the season ahead of us. Now, being an eternal optimist, if thre is LOADS of money all set to be invested a succesful promotion push could be brilliant, otherwise we'd be next years Crystal Palace.
