Couple of points: 1) Why is £7m a 'joke'? What would be a non-joke offer? 2) Would you prefer any takeover gave more cash to GFH than it had to and had less to spend on the team or paid as little as possible for the club and spent more on the team? 3) As Gary Cooper has not made the bid it is right that he shouldn't discuss figures. Would you prefer he scuppered any genuine bids by breaching confidences? 4) I realise that the concept of bidding low and working up isn't from the Ridsdale school of bidding, but it makes more sense than bidding high and paying too much, don't you think? 5) What is it about LUST you don't like? That it was started by Betty in a little pub, that it worked tirelessly to force Bates out or that it's run by Leeds United supporters? Cheers Paul
