I've never used a Chromebook but sounds like the ideal use case. That
said you can get some pretty decent Win8.1 laptops for not a lot more.
You can also get something like a Dell Venue Pro 8 for £299 which will
give you a tablet and desktop in one.

Everyone I know with any of the Note devices is extremely happy with
it. Great device but a bit too bulky for my liking...

Anyone who has used the new google chromebook got a view on it? It's
for my 71 year old mother who only emails, looks at photos and
occasionally tries to shop on amazon. Seems like a decent cheap quick
laptop for such simple things....

Also thinking of getting a samsung note 3 instead of a new blackberry
for work. Quite like look of it but had back experience with a samsung
galaxy 2 a year or two back. Does the battery last? Is it ok for
emails? (2 most important things which samsung failed on before)

Thanks for all iphone 4 to iOS 7 advice... It's still slower than Joey
Essex but its usable.

Sorry I know its match day but I'm doing some early online shopping
now wembley is sold out with only single tickets and I can't go with
son to the RL semis. Typical I thought I'd check the weather and book
in the morning and there was only 63000 sold yesterday.
