We all see through our own eyes. Mine are those of a Leeds lad that lives in Israel. That's the way it is. That is who I am. Yesterday Sharon went from the world. I am not going to praise him or defend him. I will say only that he and his reputation for both better and worse, good and bad are grossly exaggerated. The man was simply gross both morphologicaly and mythologicaly. But a legend with troughs and peaks. A legend either loved or hated. For 8 years there was this strange hope that he'd wake up. There were even jokes about it. 'Arik, wake up. Olmert is comatose'. But he didn't. We all knew he couldn't. We all knew he wouldn't. The damage was irreversible. The man was dead 8 years ago. Just the hope lived on. The legend could not die. But it did. The final event came and we all realised: It could never have been. Let's get on with it.... Is Leeds United football's Arik Sharon? That 6-0 certainly felt like it. One last point. I know much more about Sharon than all of you. If you want to discuss him do it PM. I'll answer politely and in detail!! This was about Leeds United.
