I agree, we are a joke.
I disagree with red card. There was no intent or malice by Smith, just pure
stupidity, naivety and perhaps frustration going for a ball that he had no
chance of getting. Perhaps the dangerous element combined with the stupidity
should have given him yellow?
It didn't matter anyway as we were easily contained by a team who obviously
had us sussed out well in advance.
All this Brian Mc D has to go and has to stay stuff is interesting but what
board can keep a manager in place who appears shell shocked on a weekly
basis and can't believe what's happening?
We are currently in freefall with seemingly no coherent plans, tactics or
signings that are showing any improvements. it's McD's final chances now to
show what he can do.
I would be happy with a "standard" defeat at the hands of Leicester -
perhaps 1 or 2 nil would be ok, but at this rate, who knows? Has McD
prepared his post match comments, he would be well advised to!
I don't mind Mc D but he seems all at sea as do the team and this can only
have one outcome unless he turns it around somehow. I wouldn't mind so much
if we vaguely looked like a footballing side, but we are very uncomfortable
in possession and end up hoofing when the pressure gets too much - usually
very early. I am ashamed! It's official!
Even when we were winning, a few weeks / months ago, it was very lack lustre
and this wasn't too hard to predict.
Who could we attract as players as a team in freefall with a bewildered
leader?
I know - get Strachan in - he'd sort it.

Becoming bewildered myself and can't see an end to this.

Dave
