here is a "review" of the new owner by an italian mate of mine: "for sure he has kept Cagliari in the SERE A for many years having only a small budget. they have also developed some young players from the youth teams.
in theory it appears that he understands about football but do not expect mega investments. He has also bought some young players from South America and developed them for SERIE A. usually Cagliari has not had much problem remaining in SERIE A and has not been involved in the relegation battle too often. Im shell shocked to wake up to this shit but I ve decided to put a hold on my judgement just yet. I didnt know why we took DOL as a manager and was pleasantly surprised. Im hoping for a similar effect here. I did think BMD was good enough but only had shit players to work with, so keeping him and giving him money would have worked.
