I guess it is because Bates sold all our revenue streams (not sure what he did with cash ?!?) The season ticket money was sold to Ticketus to pay for East Stand 'improvements' We sold all out merchandising and retails rights to help pay for the Radio station - all this 'lets get fans in so they will buy beer and pies' and make money that way does not work for us
