I thought the semi-final defeat was a blessing in that had we played Tottingham 
there would have been big trouble. The semi was the last time I stood at the 
Leppings Lane end.
 
Whilst I used to launch into one about Rodney the Plonker in the Mad Dog era, 
they were amazing to watch - if we ever get the equivalent of 
Strachan/McAllister/Batty/Speed again I will be a very happy man!
