Simplistic to say the least, plenty of good managers have taken a lot longer than 2/3 of a season to change things especially in a disfunctional club like ours. Poyet inherieted a large squad and was able to bring in new players at will and his team are still in the Bottom threeand no better off than when they had Martin O'Neill . The writers piece de resistance at the end suggesting that Warnock did a good job, shows how muddled his thinking is.
There are certainly better managers out there, but can you think of any that are available and would take a step down? > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] > On Behalf Of Simon Hart > Sent: 12 February 2014 11:09 > To: [email protected] > Subject: [LU] Sacking McDermott: Did Cellino Do The Right Thing In The > Wrong Way? > > Couldn't agree more with this. > > http://sabotagetimes.com/reportage/sacking-mcdermott-did-cellino-do- > the-right-thing-in-the-wrong-way/ > > A good manager / coach will take a group of players and improve them.
